An error related to invalid postcode formats during RTI submissions can be corrected by ensuring that the employer's postcode is properly formatted. Revisiting the Employer section in your payroll software to add spaces in the correct places (e.g., 'XX1 1XX') and saving the changes should resolve the issue.

To correct this:
- Click on the Employees heading
- Select the affected employee
- Chose their Personal tab
- Note their Postcode
Their postcode must have a space in the correct place, otherwise you will encounter this error. As you can see below there is no space present resulting in error.
By entering a space in the correct place and clicking save you will remove the error and the FPS will send.
